  1. FreeTrackPlans.com

    Free Track Plans

This is by far our favourite resource. It’s a fantastic site with 100’s of track plans to browse, including a large archive of layouts based on those featured in the various issues of the Hornby Track Plans booklet. Some are based on real locations, other purely┬áfictitious. From small shelf layouts, to huge, complex exhibition layouts. This site has them all! Full diagrams are shown on the site for each layout, plus you can also download the AnyRail files for most of the layouts too, enabling you to tweak and expand to your hearts content before generating a complete list of track sections and more for your shopping list!

  2. Track-Plans.net

model-railroad-track-plansThis site is nowhere near as jam packed as the previous one, but it does have a lot more eye candy! Whilst most are international layouts, there’s a good mix on N gauge and HO complete with photographs of various aspects of each layout to inspire your creativity!

  3. B&R Model Railways

    OO2
If you’re looking for something quick and easy to build then there’s a few simple track plans on here. They would work in OO/HO or N gauge and are ideal for beginners and experienced modellers.
